Traditional Hammam Kees
What is it?
A cornerstone of the Moroccan hammam ritual, the Kees glove has been used for generations to deeply cleanse, exfoliate and revive the skin, leaving it incredibly smooth and renewed.
Made for the traditional hammam, this textured exfoliating glove works with warm water and Beldi soap to gently lift away dead skin and impurities, helping reveal softer, smoother, beautifully refreshed skin underneath. It’s simple, powerful and unapologetically traditional — exactly how the Moroccan hammam ritual was meant to be.
Traditional Moroccan Kees · Authentic Hammam Ritual · Deep Exfoliation · Reusable · No Additives
What is it made of?
A traditional Moroccan Kees (Kessa) exfoliating glove, made from tightly woven, textured viscose fabric. Its distinctive crepe-like weave creates the friction needed for effective exfoliation—no scrubbing particles or chemical exfoliants required.
Why should i use it?
The Kees is the essential exfoliating step of the Moroccan hammam ritual. It physically lifts away softened dead skin and surface buildup, leaving your body feeling incredibly smooth, soft and polished. Pair it with Beldi Black Soap for the full traditional ritual.
How do i use it?
Soften your skin under warm water or steam for 5–10 minutes. Apply Beldi Black Soap, leave for around 5 minutes, then rinse it off. Wet and wring out the Kees, then exfoliate damp skin using firm, long strokes until dead skin begins to roll away. Rinse thoroughly and finish with Argan or Olive Oil. Rinse the glove after use and allow it to dry completely.
