What makes this ritual different?
Tabrima introduces a botanical preparation to the familiar Beldi-and-Kees pairing.
Tabrima brings the plant blend. Its ground botanicals become a textured paste when mixed with a suitable liquid.
Beldi provides the cleansing step. Its olive-based soap paste washes away everyday dirt and surface oil.
The Kees provides physical exfoliation. Its woven texture creates friction against damp skin after the mixture or soap has been rinsed away.
Each product has its own role. You do not need vigorous powder massage followed by strong glove exfoliation.
Why choose this bundle?
-
Explore Moroccan botanical traditions: prepare Tabrima fresh rather than reaching for a ready-made scrub.
-
Choose your approach: use the powder separately or follow its Beldi-mixing directions.
-
Enjoy Aker Fassi in a cleanser: bring this familiar Moroccan ingredient into your hammam.
-
Keep exfoliation optional: use the Kees only when your skin feels comfortable.
-
Build a flexible ritual: choose fewer steps when that is what your skin needs.
The goal is refreshed, comfortable skin—not the strongest possible scrub.
What is Tabrima made of?
Our current product description lists rose petals, lavender, chamomile, rosemary, thyme, cloves and henna, alongside other aromatic herbs used in Moroccan hammam preparations.
Tabrima recipes vary between makers. Refer to your product label for the complete ingredient list, particularly if you have plant or fragrance allergies.
Its natural aromatic character does not make it fragrance-free or suitable for every skin type.
What does Aker Fassi add?
Aker Fassi is a traditional Moroccan red cosmetic ingredient, commonly associated with preparations of poppy petals and pomegranate peel.
Here, it is included in a rinse-off body soap. This is different from using a traditional lip or cheek colour preparation.
We do not promise that this soap provides lasting skin tint, whitening or pigmentation treatment.
Your Tabrima-and-Beldi ritual, step by step
1. Prepare your space
Have a clean bowl, a dry utensil, a towel and your usual body moisturizer ready.
Remove only the amounts you plan to use, keeping the original containers away from shower water.
2. Begin with warm water
Wet your body with comfortably warm water.
A warm shower is enough. You do not need intense steam or very hot water.
3. Prepare a small portion
Place a little Tabrima in your bowl and add Beldi gradually to form a soft, spreadable paste, following any mixing proportions on your packaging.
Do not invent a stronger mixture by adding extra powders or scrub grains.
4. Apply gently
Spread a thin layer over warm, damp body skin. Avoid your face, intimate areas and any broken or irritated skin.
Follow your Tabrima label. Its current website directions specify 5–10 minutes; do not extend the time to seek a stronger result.
Rinse immediately if you feel burning, itching or stinging.
5. Rinse completely
Wash away the mixture thoroughly before considering the Kees.
Do not use the textured paste underneath the glove.
6. Decide whether to exfoliate
For your first experience, leave the Kees out and see how your skin responds to the mixture alone.
On later occasions, use the damp glove gently only if your skin remains comfortable. Avoid repeated passes over the same area and do not force visible rolls to appear.
7. Rinse and moisturize
Rinse again, pat dry gently and apply your usual body moisturizer.
Finish with comfort—not tightness, redness or soreness.
Can I use Tabrima without Beldi?
Yes. Your Tabrima directions also include preparation with water.
Add clean, lukewarm water gradually until the powder forms a soft paste. Apply and rinse according to the label.
Moroccan Rose Water is another option if you already tolerate both products. It is sold separately.
Water is the simplest starting point when getting to know the botanical blend.
Do I need all three products every time?
No. Choose the approach that suits you:
| Your plan | A simple approach |
|---|---|
| A cleansing session | Beldi with Aker Fassi, rinse and moisturize. |
| A botanical session | Tabrima prepared according to its directions, rinse and moisturize. |
| A Beldi-and-Kees session | Apply Beldi, rinse completely, use the Kees gently, rinse and moisturize. |
| A Tabrima-and-Beldi session | Prepare and apply according to Tabrima’s directions, rinse thoroughly and moisturize. Add the Kees only if appropriate for your skin. |
Introduce products separately before combining them. That makes it easier to understand your response.
Will this ritual colour my skin?
The Tabrima blend contains henna, and the Beldi contains a coloured ingredient. We cannot promise a completely stain-free experience.
Temporary skin staining or transfer may vary with preparation, contact time and your skin. Test a small, discreet area first, especially before an occasion.
Protect pale towels, clothing and porous bathroom surfaces. Rinse splashes promptly.
Do not leave products on longer to develop colour. This bundle is not intended for controlled henna designs or lasting body tint.
Small tricks for a better ritual
-
Prepare one application. Avoid mixing a large batch for the week.
-
Keep the paste soft. A dry, dragging mixture is harder to spread gently.
-
Choose your exfoliation. You do not need prolonged powder massage and vigorous Kees use together.
-
Rinse before the glove. Keep textured mixtures off the skin during Kees exfoliation.
-
Use an older towel for your first try. Coloured botanicals may transfer.
-
Keep aftercare familiar. Use a moisturizer you already know suits you.
-
Leave room to simplify. A satisfying ritual does not need every available step.
What should I avoid adding?
-
Extra henna, Aker Fassi or unidentified powders.
-
Lemon juice or vinegar.
-
Essential oils or perfume.
-
Salt, sugar or coarse scrubs.
-
Retinol, exfoliating acids or peeling solutions.
-
Bleaching agents or “whitening boosters.”
Do not add water to the Beldi jar or return prepared paste to either container.
How often should I use it?
Treat this as an occasional body-care ritual rather than daily exfoliation.
Frequency depends on your skin, pressure and other products. Allow your skin to recover fully between exfoliating sessions.
If you notice persistent dryness, tightness, itching or redness, pause and reassess.
Who should avoid the henna-containing powder?
Do not use Tabrima if you have G6PD deficiency, also called favism. Henna exposure has been associated with serious red-blood-cell breakdown in affected people, particularly children.
Do not use the powder on babies or young children.
Avoid any product containing an ingredient to which you are allergic. If you have reacted to henna or an unidentified black-henna preparation, seek professional advice before trying Tabrima.
When should I skip the ritual?
Avoid use on broken, sunburned, inflamed or infected skin.
After shaving, waxing, laser or a peel, follow your practitioner’s recovery instructions. Be cautious on areas treated with retinoids or other exfoliating products.
For very dry, eczema-prone or reactive skin, a simple fragrance-free routine may be a better fit than soap, aromatic botanicals and physical exfoliation.
Your Tabrima Ritual questions, answered
- Is Tabrima the same as Ghassoul? No. This Tabrima is a botanical blend; Ghassoul is a mineral clay. Ghassoul is not included in this bundle.
- Does it whiten skin or remove dark patches? We do not make those claims. Cleansing and surface polishing are different from treating pigmentation. Aggressive scrubbing can make irritation and dark marks worse.
- Does it treat body acne or ingrown hairs? This is not a treatment for either. Avoid rubbing inflamed bumps and seek appropriate care for persistent concerns.
- Can I use the bundle on my face? We recommend these products here for body care. Keep the body Kees away from your face.
- Can I use Tabrima as a hair mask? We do not recommend this multi-ingredient body blend as a hair mask. It contains henna, which could affect colour, and other ingredients may not suit your scalp.
- Does tingling mean it is working? No. Burning, itching or stinging are reasons to rinse.
- What if no visible rolls appear with the Kees? Do not increase pressure. Visible residue is not a reliable measure of cleanliness or success.
- Is moisturizer included? No. Finish with a suitable body moisturizer from your existing routine.
- Can I prepare the mixture for later? Mix fresh, use immediately and discard leftovers. Refrigeration does not establish the storage safety of a homemade water-based paste.
- How many sessions will I get? That depends on the amounts and areas treated. We do not promise a fixed number of complete sessions.
How to care for your set
Tabrima: keep the powder sealed and dry. Use a clean, dry utensil and keep shower water out.
Beldi: keep tightly closed. Remove portions with a clean utensil and avoid returning unused soap.
Kees: wash after use, rinse thoroughly and allow to dry completely in a ventilated place. Keep it for personal use.
Follow each product’s storage, care and expiry information.
